Look back at the table's price row and the cheapest entry points stand out right away. At entry level, SpicyChat and CrushOn.AI win on price; Character.AI's c.ai+ costs a bit more, and it's SFW only. GoLove only draws level with SpicyChat once you line it up against SpicyChat's middle tier (which is where a lot of people end up anyway, once they want images).

The chat before the account

You don't need an account to start. On GoLove, the chat already works logged out, and the character's first photo is right there. The next one sits blurred behind a lock with a Sign Up button, beside a "Send me spicy photos" quick reply. That lock is exactly where immersion breaks, and it's on purpose. Signing up is "Join Free."

Store app or browser tab

Character.AI ships polished iOS and Android apps, and that's a genuine advantage. OurDream is web-only. JuicyChat publishes iOS subscription prices. For SpicyChat and GoLove, we could not confirm their app-store status.

Picture yourself mid-conversation with a character. You tap the media button, choose Send Photo, and type the scene the way you'd say it to her: where she is, what she's wearing, how she's looking at you. Photo-to-video under the image

Right under that photo sits a one-tap Generate Video, which turns the same scene into a ~5-second clip in about a minute, for 10 Stars. Then there's Video Note. Tap the media button, choose Send Video Note, tell her what to say or do, and a round talking video with sound comes back in under 90 seconds, also 10 Stars.

What SpicyChat offers instead

SpicyChat has conversation image generation on its higher tiers. Worth factoring in when you work out which tier you'd actually need.

GoLove stuck the landing here. The request, the photo and the clip all live in one thread with one character, so the mood never has to restart in some other tab. If photos are why you chat, pick the character you'd send that first request to right now.

Row Three: Memory and Voice, Where SpicyChat Holds Its Own

Here's where SpicyChat earns its keep, so it gets a fair split.

Pros

• Configurable user personas, so the character knows who you're playing

Cons

• Automatic memory starts at True Supporter, and voice output waits until I'm All In, so the entry tier gets neither

GoLove's memory and voice

Pros

The short version: GoLove.ai puts live voice calls, memory and photos on request in one chat, and its image generator adds 35 realistic poses and 21 outfits. You also get 2 reward stars every day you log in.

• Memory: remembers your chat history
• Voice calls and voice messages, plus a playback button on every character message
• ULTRA adds an 8,000-message smart memory

Cons

• Voice messages and calls are PRO features
• The biggest memory window needs ULTRA, the top tier

If you like managing memory yourself, SpicyChat's tools are more explicit, and I'll give it that. GoLove's memory just runs in the background — less control, less fiddling. I'd still rather see that 8,000-message window at PRO instead of locked to the top tier. Character.AI deserves a mention too: it has a strong reputation for in-conversation memory, but it stays SFW, so it only helps if that limit doesn't bother you.

Feed, Series and the Generate Tab: Built for a Vertical Screen

Next stop: the parts of GoLove that are meant to be held vertically.

The swipeable Feed

The Feed plays full-screen vertical clips, one GoLove character at a time, and you swipe up for the next. Three moves matter:

• Double-tap to like a clip, which saves it to your Liked tab
• Chat opens the thread with that exact character
• Remix opens Generate with her action, outfit and scene already loaded

Free accounts get a limited number of new clips per day. PRO unlocks unlimited Feed plus filters.

Series

These are GoLove's own vertical short dramas: 5 series and 32 episodes as of 2026-10-12, each episode 60–100 seconds with subtitles. "My AI Girlfriend" and "My Professor Locked the Door" star GoLove characters you can chat with once the episode ends. Episodes 1 and 2 of every series are open to watch; from episode 3 on, you need PRO plus a few Stars per episode. As an on-ramp it's quietly great — watch, then tap Start Chatting with the cast.

What We Couldn't Verify About GoLove.ai on Mobile

Fair's fair, so here's what we couldn't pin down about GoLove on mobile.

• App stores: we could not confirm a GoLove listing in the iOS or Android stores, so we can't say how it compares with Character.AI's native apps.
• Free tier: we could confirm the 2 daily reward Stars, the limited daily Feed and Series episodes 1–2. Beyond that, we couldn't confirm what a free account can do.
• Feed quota: we couldn't confirm the exact number of free clips per day.
• Promos: we couldn't confirm that the −70% new-user offer or the annual pricing works the same way in every region.

For anyone budgeting, the pricing gap is the kinda janky part, because the number on your screen may not match the one here. None of these unknowns touch the in-chat photo and video row, though. That's the row the pick rests on.

SpicyChat vs GoLove.ai on a Phone: The Rows That Decide It
